History

As part of the Ceiling Restoration Project a Lancaster University MA student - James Perry - investigated Brigham and Greysouthen in mid 1860s. his work tells a lot about the life of local people and their involvement in the church and especially in the 1860's restoration of the church.

The restoration of the William Butterworth ceiling in 2013-2014 is told in a series of display boards, currently located in the church. This can be viewed as a file located on the 'about' page of this site

A document titled Brigham Church - written and read in the church in 1878 by Isaac Fletcher, subsequently edited and reprinted by Rev. Chris Goddard in 1993, is also included as a downloadable file.
